Free Stuff Friday: Sword and Sorcery Saga

It’s Friday and it’s time to give you some more free stuff!

This week’s Free Stuff is: Sword and Sorcery Saga

Swords and Sorcery Saga is a free website containing information, links, and downloads for a Swords and Sorcery conversion of Wizards of the Coast’s Star Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition.

On the Sword and Sorcery Saga Website they wrote this stuff up: This page is a central location for links and resources for Sword and Sorcery Saga, my sword-and-sorcery conversion of WotC’s Star Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition. Right now it is primarily a link farm, but as time goes on I’ll be adding HTML versions of the ruleset, resources such as monster compendiums and so forth.

So take a moment and check out Sword and Sorcery Saga. Download their files, and check out their links. As always be sure to thank Sword and Sorcery Saga for all their free stuff!

The colors of that page made my eyes bleed, but it is an excellent resource all the same.

Saga was the stepping stone for 4E, and I really think that it has some very good elements for a strong fantasy game.

Their Uncanny Midnight Tales was something I really liked! I’m sorry to see he hasn’t worked on further developing this. Like Dane said Star Wars Saga Edition was a stepping tone to D&D 4th edition, but I liked this stage better than the end product. I know others may not agree but 4th edition is not for me.

Hey, I just noticed the plug. 🙂 Alas, time restrictions have kept me from pursuing these much further than has been put on the sites. These days, having just enough time to run one game when I'm lucky, I generally stick with Pathfinder. If you're interested in my gaming bloggy posts, including various Pathfinder house rules and such, you can find them here:
