Google Friend Connect integration

logo Today I added Google friend connect to the blog, which not only allows people to show their support for Stargazer’s World in the sidebar widget to the right, but also makes commenting easier.

If you have an account with Google, Twitter, Yahoo, AIM, Netlog or OpenID, you can click the “Join this site” button in the widget to the right and you will be able to post comments using  your credentials from that site. This removes the need to enter username, email and URL each time you want to post a comment.

If that works out fine, I will consider adding more Google friend connect features. So, please let me know, what you think.

You should move the join this site widget above the fold.

I hope it's better now. I can't move it any higher without making changes to the theme, but I think I can add some login button under the comment section, later.

Working fine for me, what a great feature! But I have to agree with Joshua: move it all the way up, please! 🙂

I added the Google social bar to the top. This will allow me to move the sidebar widget back to its original place.
