Free Stuff Friday – Monster Slayers

It’s Friday and it’s time to give you some more free stuff!

This week’s Free Stuff is: Monster Slayers: The Heroes of Hesiod

Do you have kids? Do you want to roll play with them? As a parent do you feel you can get your children on the right RPG footing and all you need are the tools? Well my dear friends, look no further. Monster Slayers: The Heroes of Hesiod is here to help you out!

Monster Slayers: The Heroes of Hesiod has been built by the same team at Wizards of the Coast who brought you Dungeons & Dragons.

On the Monster Slayers Website they wrote this stuff up
: There are a great many reasons to share D&D with kids. Besides being just the kind of imaginative play that kids naturally engage in, Dungeons & Dragons develops an array of essential educational skills, including:

  • Math skills
  • Reading skills
  • Writing skills
  • Cooperation and leadership
  • Problem-solving
  • Creative thinking

Monster Slayers: The Heroes of Hesiod requires no previous knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons, and all you need to play is included in this adventure, aside from a few dice and pencils (and some friends to play it with). Play time can be as little as fifteen minutes or as long as an hour, depending on how many monsters you run.

So give this Monster Slayers: The Heroes of Hesiod a shot with your kids. Oh, and don’t forget to thank the kind folks at Wizards of the Coast for your free stuff!

29-year-old working as a facility manager and living on the final frontier in Juneau, Alaska. Writing, reading, computers, drumming and playing some Dungeon & Dragons top my interest.

Thankfully my kid is already plays and plays rather well. As for this product – I would never give it to any kid. Murdering helpless caged beast for so called exam? Yeah. sure "problem solving and creative thinking", my ass.
I'm a big fan of WotC and their products, but this one is disgusting.

I love the idea of teaching the younger generations how to play. I had NO knowledge of this. Than you!
