Free Stuff Friday: Dungeons & Dragons Essentials Character Sheets

It’s Friday and it’s time to give you some more free stuff!

This week’s Free Stuff is: Dungeons & Dragons Essentials Character Sheets!!!

Wizards of the cost Coast has created a slimed down character sheet for characters created using the Essentials books. These character sheets are fully compatible 4th edition Dungeons & Dragons a finally available for download. Prior to this they where only available with the Dungeons & Dragons Red Box Essentials starter set.

On The Dungeons & Dragons website they wrote this stuff up: This page contains download links to  D&D character sheets. These files are zipped pdfs. They require Adobe Reader to open and print. You may print and photocopy them for your own personal use.

So download the new Character sheets today and start playing some Dungeons & Dragons. Just don’t forget to thank the kind folks at Wizards of the Coast for the free stuff!

29-year-old working as a facility manager and living on the final frontier in Juneau, Alaska. Writing, reading, computers, drumming and playing some Dungeon & Dragons top my interest.

Yuck…. "slimed" down character sheets. Might be okay for a Cthulhu game, but… I don't know. 😉

I just the the Rules Compendium and Heroes of the Fallen Lands. I like them both better than the Core Books I got when 4e first came out.

Essentials may bring 4e back to the table as a game we regularly play. Naturally Pathfinder is not going anywhere, but I think Essentials 4e may be my alternative fantasy system. My 12 year old daughter wants to learn D&D (her asking me to teach her almost brought a tear to my eye) and this weekend she will be learning with 4e Essentials.

I love my Pathfinder, but I can't deny that I think 4e would be easier for a new player.

That's supposed to say " I just got the Rules Compendium and Heroes of the Fallen Lands."

That's what I get for typing with no sleep.

"Wizards of the cost…" I'm totally using that the next time I get into a forum flame-fest about how 4e has completely devoured the soul of role-playing, and is eying unborn children hungrily.

@CraigM, That was a legitimate mistake I made on the spelling of "Coast". However, let it be known I call dibs on "Wizards of the Cost™".

@Youseph: I yield "Wizards of the Cost", but call dibs on "Wizards of Not Knowing the Value". 😉
