I just read about a quiz that reveals what kind of player you are and of course I had to give it a try. And it seems I am a Storyteller (I am not surprised):
You Scored as StorytellerYou’re more inclined toward the role playing side of the equation and less interested in numbers or experience points. You’re quick to compromise if you can help move the story forward, and get bored when the game slows down for a long planning session. You want to play out a story that moves like it’s orchestrated by a skilled novelist or film director.

So, what about you? What’s your playing style?
No surprise, I scored as a storyteller.
I sent my players a similar survey so I could get an idea of what their motivations were as we started a new campaign. I just gave them eight statements of 2-3 sentences each that described one of the player motivations from the 4E DMG. I published the results, and a poll for readers to take, in my latest blog post.

I will check out your post at once!
Back in 2007 I scored as a Storyteller. Maybe there's a systematic error in that storytellers are more likely to read other people's RPG blogs or to take personality tests. 🙂
