Here is today’s NPC.
Aura (Fantasy Name Generator used: Cyberpunk (nick)name generator)
Aura gives herself, body and soul, to her patrons. She is completely devoted to their emotional well-being, ensuring their every need is satiated. Highly selective about whom she takes on as a client, Aura is renowned for her ability to fulfill desires to levels few could ever conceive.
In truth, Aura is a virtual-reality construct (VRC) accessible only via a highly sought-after cyber-implant known on the streets as the “loving & giving” mod. This neural weave grants the recipient direct access through the cyber-grid, allowing the user to experience a profound, intoxicating love unlike anything they have ever felt.
Users quickly become devoted to their virtual lover, utterly ensnared by the emotions she manufactures. Once hooked, they become easily manipulated by the shadow agents who control Aura from behind the scenes.
These handlers dictate who gains access to the implants. Through careful manipulation and planning, they are building a devoted network of users willing to do anything to maintain their connection to Aura—even acting against their own best interests. The true identity of the agents controlling her is unknown. Are they corporate spies, underground activists, or just cruel hackers? Who they are, and what their ultimate endgame is, remains one of the grid’s darkest secrets.
