#RPGaDay2017 Day 31: The future’s so bright, I’ve gotta wear shades!
Day 31 of #RPGaDay2017. And so, another year of RPG a Day comes to an end. This has been a particularly good one for me. Managed to post every day. Here in the blog we were joined by a new contributor. This year I’ve also joined a new team making Spanish vlog content, Desde la Fosa, and I’ve also created a pair of videos in English for my personal YouTube channel. I really hope to keep up the pace and not disappear from the blog until August 2018, because you know I’ll participate next year.
So, let’s get going with the last question:
August 31: What do you anticipate most for gaming in 2018?
As an industry, I hope gaming continues growing. That other tabletop gaming, such as CCGs or board games, help fresh players discover RPGs. That more and more diverse games continue being produced. That D&D Beyond and Starfinder are a success! Their success is good for the industry.
Personally, I want to continue working with the Desde la Fosa team, establishing contacts with Spanish speaking gamers in Latin America, keep contributing here in the blog, and follow in the footsteps of our fearless leader Michael, aka the Stargazer (fear his gaze!) and publish a game! Ambitions, I know…
Also, I hope to see the new revised Savaged Worlds books hinted at in the panel at Gen Con. While I hope that the Torg books will be here before the year is over, I’m hopeful for the growth of the line in 2018. And Ulisses Spiele seems intent on taking my money… of course I’m looking forward to Warhammer 40K Wrath & Glory, but that’s NOT the game I’m looking forward to the most. My choice ties back to my very first post for #RPGaDay2017… What is it I’m looking for the most in 2018?
The announcement that there will be a new edition of Fading Suns! You can see the video right here:

What can I say? Nimm mein Geld!
You can see the last video response for #RPGaDay2017 at the Desde la Fosa YouTube channel or at the link below. We have a special video for the last day. Here’s hoping some of you enjoyed the channel and stick around for the other videos we are making. Feel free to share our channel. Thanks for watching!
Oh, dear reader… one last thing! What would you like me to do next in the blog? Reviews? Create content? Discuss gaming news? Talk about my campaigns? Let me know! Either leave a comment or send me a message via Twitter @Sunglar
Have a great September!
