#RPGaDay2017 Day 9: A perfect 10!

Day 2 of Week 2 for #RPGaDay 2017. Sorry for the late post today… RL has a way of complicating things, but here I am!  Yesterday’s question was about a good game for a 2-hour session. Today’s question is:

August 9: What is a good RPG to play for about 10 sessions?A good game for 10 sessions, that’s a head scratcher. I’m good with short one-shots, or long campaigns. The short campaigns, that’s where I falter. Still when I sat to think down about the ideal game for 10 sessions I came to the same conclusion as my friend Aníbal Delgado on the video linked below, Savage Worlds.

Despite running a long campaign with the system, I think Savage Worlds is ideal for short campaigns. Fast, furious, fun! Savage Worlds is ideal for a contained story, 10 sessions long. In fact, when I run it again, there are some changes I would make to help the longevity of a campaign, but that’s a topic for another post.

What would be your pick for good game to play for 10 sessions? Let us know in the comments. You can see Aníbal’s video for Desde la Fosa below:

See you all tomorrow!

Welcome, reader; thanks for taking the time to discover who I am! My name is Roberto, although I usually go by Sunglar online. I am a longtime tabletop RPG player, primarily a GM for the better part of that time; some will say that’s because of my love of telling a good story, others because I’m a control freak, but that’s debatable. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, an island in the Caribbean with a small but active gaming community. I’ve played RPGs for almost 40 years, and for most of that time, I played D&D in all its permutations, including Pathfinder and D&D 5th edition. Other games our regular gaming group plays include Mutants & Masterminds, Castles & Crusades, Savage Worlds, Stars Without Number, Alien, and more. I have played many games through the years and plan to play many more. I am a compulsive homebrewer and rarely play a campaign I have not created myself. You can follow me on social media as Sunglar, and I’m regularly active on Facebook where you can find me posting regularly in the Puerto Rico Role Players group. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
